Food Diary

To ensure your program is best suited to you, we need to know the details of what you eat on a daily basis.

Please begin keeping a food diary for the next 7 days.

The diary must contain everything you consume.

  • Include all foods, herbs, spices, drinks, snacks, cooking oils, sauces.

  • Do not include quantities of food.

  • If there is a food(s) you know you eat regularly but don’t happen to eat it in the 7 days, simply add it to one of the meals.

  • Record the diary in whatever way suits you… word/google doc/notes, just make sure you can send it to Alex easily at the end of the 7 days.

Stress Journal

The next task is a stress journal. This is to help you and Alex identify activities, events and relationships that cause you stress, which may be contributing to skin flare ups.

  • Record how you feel when you wake up; Are you Happy, Anxious, Sad?

  • Record moments when you think about your skin, and what happened in the moments before.

  • Record moments of stress, and sadness throughout the day, and what happened leading up to that moment.

  • Record moments of happiness and relaxation, and what happened leading up to that moment.

  • There is a template here for your convenience.

Please, in both journals, be honest and committed. It’s the little things that make all the difference. Alex will reach out at the 7 day mark so you can send the documents. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.
